Matthew 25:40 – “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.”

What an amazing and blessed first day we had serving those in need of glasses. Even Pastor Jack found a pair that fit him nicely!

Before we began our mission for the day, we were inspired by a message presented by a church pastor. He boldly stated that one can know who God is, but truly knowing God is seeking a closer relationship with Him. Please pray that the seed that was planted today will grow in the non-believers that were present. Also, continue to pray for more bold and clear messages of the gospel in Jordan – which is desperately needed.

We examined, fit, and distributed vision and reading glasses to over 85 refugees and a few Jordanians. The hardest part about it all is the language barrier, but we are so thankful for our Global Hope translators who have partnered with us. It was incredible to see how a beanie baby and a pair of sunglasses can brake the language barrier. The smiles of the children, and even some adults, radiated their appreciation for the love that was shared with them.

We are thankful for our prayer partners who have prayed for these specific opportunities. Continue to pray that our hands, heads and hearts will serve God and be aware of God’s divine appointments as we serve and minister to the people. After being fitted for glasses, Pastor Jack and Pastor Hanna were able to pray with some families that allowed them.

Tomorrow is expected to be a busier day, but we are excited to fit and serve more people through our eye glass ministry. We look forward to demonstrating the mercy and grace of Jesus Christ and seeing doors open to be able to share His love.
